Wood close to Burnley switch

Burnley are closing in on the signing of Leeds United striker Chris Wood, according to the Mirror.

The Clarets are on the lookout for a new forward after selling Andre Gray to Watford earlier this month and have identified Wood as their top target.

Wood has been with Leeds since the summer of 2015 and for them has notched forty-four goals in eighty-six appearances in all competitions, a tally which includes thirty in the Championship last season making him the division’s top scorer.

The New Zealand international is also of the mark this season having netted in the opening weekend victory over Bolton Wanderers.

He has a touch of top flight experience having scored for Leicester City in the 2014/15 campaign while he also turned out for West Bromwic…

Coronavirus: Bundesliga matches to be played behind closed doors from November 2

Bundesliga matches will be played behind closed doors from November 2 after it was announced Germany would return to a partial lockdown amid a significant increase in coronavirus cases.

German chancellor Angela Merkel and the regional leaders of the 16 states decided on a raft of new measures to control the spread of the virus on Wednesday.

One of these is to prevent any supporters from attending professional sports in the country.

Ahead of the 2020-21 season, Bundesliga clubs announced they would be ready to welcome back fans if public health authorities considered it a safe step to take, having played out the final weeks of the 2019-20 season behind closed doors.

The largest attendance under the restrictions was Borussia Dortmund s home…

Martinez turns focus to Atalanta after details make the difference in Madrid

Lautaro Martinez wants Inter to quickly move on from the disappointment of losing to Real Madrid and focus on a difficult match to come against Atalanta.

Antonio Conte s Inter are still without a win in Europe this season after going down 3-2 in the Spanish capital on Tuesday, a result that leaves them sitting bottom of a tightly contested Group B.

Martinez scored once and assisted Ivan Perisic s equaliser as the Serie A side rallied from falling 2-0 behind to draw level, only for Rodrygo to grab the winner for the hosts in the 80th minute.

There is little time to dwell on the result, however, as the Nerazzurri travel to Bergamo on Sunday for their final game before November s international break, a key fixture between two clubs hopeful of breaking Juventus…

Destiny 2: The Final Shape Trailers Showcase Still Hunt, Microcosm, and Khvostov 7G-0X Exotics

After Bungie showcased three new (and somewhat underwhelming) Exotic armor pieces for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, it recently unveiled Sports Bettingthree new Exotic weapons. The first is the Khvostov 7G-0X, based on the first gun players obtained in Destiny 1. Check it out below.

Its signature perk is every seventh bullet ricochets. Based on the gameplay, the shots seek out other enemies and sometimes loop back to the original target. Microcosm is an Exotic trace rifle for the Heavy slot that deals massive damage to enemy shields. That’s adequate, but it should have more going on to warrant including in the slot over all the current options.

Finally, there’s Still Hunt, an Exot…

Tevez: City feud proves costly

Carlos Tevez s ongoing dispute with Manchester City has cost him nearly 10 million pounds.

Now, in the latest saga, the disgruntled Argentine may take his bitter feud to the Premier League after he was hit with a six-week fine worth more than one million pounds for going AWOL.

The former City skipper is weighing up an appeal after he was hit in the pocket by the Etihad Stadium club in a development which means the ongoing row with his paymasters has cost him a staggering 9.3m pounds.

Tevez has been left counting the cost of his misdemeanours after being found guilty of gross misconduct for his actions since November 7 when he travelled back to Argentina from England without official permission.

Path of Exile 2 Patch Improves Dodge Roll, Nerfs Magma Barrier and Ultimatum

Grinding Gear Games has released a new patch for Path of Exile 2, currently in early access for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It offers numerous gameplay improvements and changes, including reducing the player’s size to zero while dodge rolling to get between enemies more easily. Certain smaller monsters can also be pushed while dodging, making it easier for players to escape from corners.

Passive block chance will also work against hits from every direction instead of only the front, while Rain of Arrows and Firestorm have a hit-rate limit. The latter is to prevent them from destroying bosses with large hitboxes and shouldn’t affect clear against regular foes. If you found the Magma Barrier modifier on enemies irritating, it now provides less defens…
